Welcome to Rams Hill Ranch, where every sunrise and sunset reminds us that we are stewards, not owners, of this beautiful ranch.

The genesis of our ranch started out when we fell in love with East Texas. As Lake Athens property owners we were spending more time in the piney woods of East Texas and decided we would love to own more property. We purchased our initial ranch in 2021 and then a year later the adjacent ranch became available, and we purchased it as well.

In Spanish, our surname Borrego is derived from the big horn sheep, or “rams”, found in the mountains. So, we thought it appropriate to name our ranch Rams Hill Ranch, which is located in the rolling hills of East Texas.

As a graduate of The University of Texas I have always been a Longhorn fan and wanted to someday own longhorns. We began purchasing quality animals and have raised them with the utmost care, respect, and gratitude. We prioritize superior genetics, striking conformation, bold color, and impressive horn development in every animal we raise.

At Rams Hill Ranch, we love to raise quality longhorns, grow our own hay, ride horses, and hunt/fish. It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Dallas, Texas and one we hope our family will continue to enjoy for generations to come.
